Financially Support SURJ NYC, SURJ Westchester, and SURJ National
Power = organized people + organized money.
Financially suport the organizing of SURJ NYC, SURJ Westchester, and SURJ National (your donation will be split evenly between all three)!
Thank you to everyone who came out to Bring Your People, our recent meeting with SURJ NYC, SURJ Westchester, and SURJ National at All Angels Church in the Upper West Side! Over 60 of us gathered to share stories, meet our neighbors, and move into action! We discussed our shared interest in racial justice and the importance of bringing white people into multiracial movements. And we heard how organizing money for the “white stripe” of multiracial movements is essential to building the people power we need to win!
We have raised over $2,000 towards a goal of $2,500. Help us reach our goal!
Get In Formation Against the MAGA Agenda!
SURJ NYC and SURJ National are organizing in-person meetings with other SURJ members to get in formation now to receive calls to action from SURJ and movement partners as part of a broad left grassroots strategy for the next few months and the next four years against a MAGA agenda. At these in-person events, we’ll gather in community, share food, and connect with other regular people to process this moment and learn what we can do together. We have a number of meeting hosts in NYC and will do our best to connect you to one close to you!
National Day of Mourning
Thursday, November 28, 12:00pm
Since 1970, Indigenous people and their allies have gathered at noon on Cole's Hill in Plymouth to commemorate a National Day of Mourning on the US Thanksgiving holiday. Livestream it here, or join in person.
SURJ NYC’s Indigenous Solidarity team will be in Plymouth and would love to see you there for this “day of remembrance and spiritual connection, as well as a protest against the racism and oppression that Indigenous people continue to experience worldwide.”
